King Edward Pub - Staniforth St

This is the The King Edward pub on the junction of Staniforth Street and Corporation Street near Aston University. A sad reflection of the many pubs now closed across the City.

Library of Birmingham

The replacement for Birmingham Central Library is now well under construction and is due for completion in 2013, situated in Centenary Sq on Broad St the Library will be connected to The Birmingham Repertory Theatre.

Probably one of the most photographed buildings in Birmingham....no prizes for guessing its Selfridges Department store. Photographed from Moor St as I was waiting for my passengers who had gone off to collect Krispy Kreme doughnuts from within this building. Part of the Bullring Shopping Centre this is one of the two main anchor stores.
